Mar 2025 - Present- Build and run CrushThisCourse, a race-strategy platform for endurance athletes, as sole engineer: .NET MAUI iOS and Android app, Python / FastAPI API, PostgreSQL, Next.js web, Stripe subscriptions, deployed on Fly.io and Vercel. Shipped to the App Store and Google Play.
- Built its race-prediction engine on historical results across swim, bike, and run, plus course-aware bike power pacing.
- Took the app from first commit to App Store approval in 17 days. Own CI/CD, releases on both stores, monitoring (Sentry, PostHog), and production database operations.
- Contract, Dec 2025 to Mar 2026: built native iOS and Android apps for a Ruby on Rails platform with Hotwire Native, including GPS and push-notification bridges and both store submissions.

Aug 2015 - Feb 2025- Foundation engineer on the 4-person team that consolidated separate native iOS and Android codebases into one .NET MAUI app (40 to 50 regulated screens) over 18 months, rolled out behind feature flags with no production disruption. Test coverage rose from about 30% to 80%.
- Owned the iOS features for Canadian ELD Mandate certification (Personal Conveyance, Yard Move, operating zones, odometer units, event checksums). J. J. Keller passed third-party certification while several competitors did not.
- Traced a checksum defect in a SQL Server stored procedure that was failing FMCSA data-transfer validation for all customers, and fixed a silent lost-records bug in a REST service with DOT audit impact.
- Led the VT100 / Xirgo telemetry integration (BLE and RF hardware) from Android to iOS; took over the Encompass ELD release process in 2023; mentored junior engineers.
- Rated Outperforming in 2023; 2024 delivery ran 37% above the senior-developer target at a quarter of the target defect rate. Left in 2019 and was recruited back in 2020 for the platform modernization team.
